Promenade. A perfect choice.
We so enjoyed this B&B including the view of the Arno and the Ufiizi Gallery across the river. Our hosts were most gracious and accommodating and gave us great dining recommendations. Breakfast in the room was a very nice way to start the day. There was some street noise three stories below us because of the very central location, but we did not find it a problem. I hope we will return to Florence again and find a room available at the Promenade Firenze.

This was our second stay in Florence and we were fortunate to find this little gem of a B&B. It is literally half a block from the Ponte Vecchio and no more than a 10 minute walk to all the major sights in central Florence. Our room had a lovely view of the Arno River.
The B&B has someone there 24 hours a day so there is always help if you need it (not always so with these kinds of B&Bs) and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Ryana (the owner) is a very warm and welcoming person who is eager to assist you with whatever you need and to recommend things to see and do in the city.
Note: While this room is classified as a B&B, there is no breakfast provided.
The rates were very reasonable, especially considering the location and quality of the room. A very good value. We would absolutely recommend this B&B.
Thank you Ryana!
Wow. I went to Italy alone, on a whim and with nearly no expectations. I am still overwhelmed. I left in late February and due to the lack of reviews, was kind of worried over lodging. That was before I stepped out of the taxi. After a whirlwind experience, the Promenade will always be the place that cradled it all. The staff was absolutely wonderful, the rooms were always warm, and the views are just incredible.
Firenze? Promenade, always.
